Winter Lingonberry Porridge
Ingredients
1 liter (quart) water
660 g ( 1 1/2 pounds, 7 3/4 dl, 3 1/3 cups) sugar
2 1/3 liters (quarts) lingonberries
3 1/2 dl ( 1 1/2 cups) rye flour
Instructions
1)
Simmer water and sugar 5 minutes. Add the berries and simmer 10 minutes.
2)
Sprinkle the flour over the mixture, stir well and return to the boil. Simmer 5 minutes.
3)
Serve warm with light cream.
