Waffles – Ordinary
Ingredients
500 g (18 oz., 8 1/4 dl, 3 1/2 cups) flour
100-150 g (3-4 oz., 1 1/4-1 1/2 dl, 1/2-3/4 cup) sugar
1 tsp. cardamom
3 eggs
1 liter (quart) full fat milk
250 g (8 oz., 1 cup) margarine
2 1/2 dl (1 cup) whipping cream
Instructions
1)
Whisk flour, sugar, cardamom, eggs and milk until smooth.
2)
Melt margarine and add with the cream. Strain.
3)
Refrigerate 1 hour.
4)
Bake in a waffle iron. Serve waffles with butter and jam.
