Tanager Fish
Ingredients
2 tsp. melted fat from boiled salted mutton (or oil)
1 1/4 dl (1/2 cup) minced onion
3 dl ( 1 1/4 cups) flaked poached lightly salted cod
1 dl (scant 1/2 cup) full fat milk
1/8 tsp. pepper
Instructions
1)
Melt the fat in a saucepan.
2)
Saute the onion in the fat until soft and shiny.
3)
Add the fish with a little milk.
4)
Stir until almost smooth, adding milk as needed.
5)
It should have the texture of porridge.
6)
Serve with boiled potatoes and vegetables. Enjoy!
