Silver Cake
Ingredients
80 g (2 3/4 oz., 1/3 cup) margarine
1 1/4 dl (1/2 cup) sugar
4 Tbs. (1/4 cup) chopped blanched almonds
2 1/4 dl (1 cup) flour, sifted
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 egg whites
Instructions
1)
Preheat the oven to 180 C (350 F).

Beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour, baking powder and almonds.
3)
Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry and fold into the mixture.
4)
Pour into a greased 1 1/2 liter (6 cup) loaf pan.
5)
Bake 45 minutes, until golden. Cool on a rack 10 minutes before removing from the pan. Enjoy!
