Round Steak

Ingredients

750 g (1 2/3 pounds) bottom round or eye of round
flour seasoned with salt and pepper
3 Tbs. margarine
1 medium onion
beef stock or water
salt
freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

1) Cut the meat into 12 mm (1/2") slices.

2) Dip in seasoned flour and sate in browned margarine. Transfer to a pot.

3) Slice the onion and saute. Add to the meat.

4) Add stock or water just to cover.

5) Cover and simmer until meat is tender, about 1 hour. Season with salt and pepper.

6) Serve with mashed or boiled potatoes and vegetables. Enjoy!
