Rice Porridge
Ingredients
4 dl (1 2/3 cups) water
1 3/4 dl (3/4 cup) round grain rice
1 liter (quart) full fat milk
1 tsp. salt
Instructions
1)
Bring the water to a boil. Add the rice, lower the heat and simmer, covered, until the water is absorbed, 15-20 min.
2)
Bring the milk to a boil, then add. Lower the heat, cover and simmer until the rice is tender, about 30 min. Season with salt.
3)
Serve with butter, sugar, cinnamon and a glass of juice.
