Pre-Bedtime Drink
Good for insomnia and is anti inflammatory
Ingredients
1/4 Cup Turmeric powder
1/2 Cup Filtered water
2 Cups Organic Coconut Milk
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1tsp. Coconut oil
1tsp. Chopped ginger
6 Black Pepper corns
1tsp. Turmeric Paste (made ahead of time)
Pinch of stevia (optional)
Instructions
1)
Blend Turmeric powder and saucepan with filtered water. Simmer for 15 mins. on low heat until paste is formed. Store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
2)
To a sauce pan add the Coconut milk; Cinnamon; Coconut oil; chopped ginger; peppercorns and 1tsp. - 1 tbsp. of turmeric paste
3)
Simmer on low for 10 mins. Strain into a mug and enjoy at bedtime!
