Pollack Balls
Ingredients
500 g (1 pound) skinless, boneless pollack fillet
1 Tbs. potato starch
about 1 1/4 tsp. salt
about 3 dl (1 1/4 cps) full fat milk
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
5 dl (2 cups) fish stock
Instructions
1)
Grind the fish 3-4 times, the last time with the potato starch, nutmeg and salt.
2)
Gradually add milk, stirring constantly. Make a tiny ball and cook to check the taste and texture.
3)
Make 8-10 smooth, round balls with a wet hand and spoon.
4)
Simmer in fish stock about 5 minutes.
5)
Store in the refrigerator in the stock.
6)
Serve with white sauce flavored with shrimp or curry, cole slaw and boiled potatoes. Enjoy!
