Pickled Redfish
Ingredients
1 pre-soaked salted redfish fillet
3 onions
6 dl (2 1/2 cups) brine for pickled herring
Instructions
1)
Cut the fish into 2 cm (3/4") strips.
2)
Peel and thinly slice the onion.
3)
Layer fish & onion in a jar or bowl, then pour over cold brine.
4)
Note: Salted salmon or trout also can be used in this recipe.
