Mock Chicken Legs

Ingredients

1 1/2 kg (3 pounds) boneless veal round steak
salt
ground black pepper
2 Tbs. chopped parsley
120 g ( 4 oz., 1/2 cup) butter
butter
4 dl (1 2/3 cups) whipping cream

Instructions

1) Remove all fat and membrane from the meat and cut across the grain into 1 cm (1/2") slices.

2) Pound the meat into rectangular pieces of equal size. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

3) Combine parsley and butter and spread over the meat. Roll up and tie with string.

4) Brown in butter. Add cream and simmer until tender, 30-40 minutes.

5) Remove string before serving.

6) Serve with boiled potatoes and vegetables. Enjoy!
