Meat Cakes
Ingredients
500 g (1 pound) boneless beef chuck
1 Tbs. potato starch
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 dl (3/4 cup) stock
butter
5 dl (2 cups) brown gravy
Instructions
1)
Grind the meat three times, then mix with the dry ingredients. Gradually add the stock.
2)
Form round cakes and brown on all sides in butter.
3)
Simmer in brown gravy until thoroughly cooked, 5-8 minutes.
4)
Serve with boiled potatoes, creamed peas and lingonberry compote. Enjoy!
