Macaroni Pudding

Ingredients

1/4pt/425ml milk
3 Tbs. sugar
zest of a lemon and a lime
2oz/50g quick cook macaroni
1 egg
3 Tbs. double cream

Instructions

1) Place milk, 2 Tbs. sugar, lemon and lime in a pan and bring to the boil. Add macaroni and simmer for approximately 10 minutes until tender. Remove the mixture from the heat.

2) Beat egg and cream together and stir in to heat through.

3) Transfer mixture to a pie dish. Sprinkle over remaining sugar and flash under the grill to brown. Serve immediately.
