Lemon Ice Cream
Ingredients
10-12 lemons
5 dl (2 cups) water
3 dl (1 1/4 cups) sugar
1 liter (quart) sweet white wine
Instructions
1)
Wash the lemons well and grate the rind (no pith.) Squeeze the juice and strain.,
2)
Combine juice, rind, water and sugar in a saucepan.
3)
Heat until the sugar dissolves. cool., Add the white wine. Taste for sweetness.
4)
Freeze in an ice cream machine. The ice cream will be soft.
