Herringburgers

Ingredients

750 g (1 2/3 pounds) fresh herring
200g (7 oz., 1 large) boiled potato
3/4 tsp. salt
2 1/4 tsp. potato starch
5 dl (2 cups) fish stock
margarine or butter

Instructions

1) Clean, fillet, wash and dry the herring.

2) Grind the fish once, then grind with the potatoes.

3) Stir in salt and potato starch. Gradually add fish stock.

4) Form round burgers and fry in margarine 3 minutes per side.

5) Serve with fried onions, browned butter and vegetables. Enjoy!
