Fried Rutabaga
Ingredients
rutabaga
flour
salt
pepper
butter
Instructions
1)
Peel the rutabaga and cut into thick slices.
2)
Boil until almost tender, about 10 minutes, then drain on a rack. They should be dry.
3)
Dip in flour mixed with salt and pepper and fry in butter.
4)
Serve as a vegetarian main dish with boiled potatoes, flatbread and milk soup.
