Crescent Rolls

Ingredients

4 Tbs. (1/4 cup) margarine
3 dl (1 1/4 cups) milk
50 g (1 3/4 oz.) fresh yeast
500 g (18 oz., 8 1/4 dl, 3 1/2 cups) flour
2 Tbs. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

1) Melt the margarine and add the milk. Stir in the yeast. Add remaining ingredients to make a medium stiff dough. Let rise twice.

2) Divide dough in half. Roll each piece to form round sheets, about 30 cm (12") diameter. Cut each into 8 triangles. Roll up from the wide end. Bend the ends slightly inward. Place the rolls on a baking sheet and let rest 10 minutes.

3) Preheat the oven to 225 C (425 F). Bake 10 minutes.
