1 liter water 50 g (1 3/4 oz., 1/4 cup) grated Norwegian brown blended goat milk cheese or cajeta (can be purchased in Mexican food stores) 3 dl (1 1/4 cups) barley flour 1 tsp. salt 2 Tbs. butter
Instructions
1) Bring the water and cheese or cajeta to a boil. Whisk in the flour and simmer, whisking constantly, until smooth and thick. Simmer 15 min., then stir in salt and butter.
2) Serve with bacon, sugar or syrup, brown goats's milk cheese or cajeta and milk.
