500 g (1 pound) boneless beef chuck or round 1 kg (2 pounds) potatoes 1 small onion salt pepper 90 g (3 oz., 1/3 cup) butter or margarine 4-5 dl (2 cups) beef stock
Instructions
1) Cut meat, potatoes and onion into 1 cm (1/2") cubes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and brown in butter.
2) Bring the stock to a boil and add.
Simmer until the meat is tender, about 45 minutes.
3) The potatoes will boil to pieces and thicken the dish. Season with salt and pepper.
