Beef And Onions

Ingredients

3 onions, minced
2-3 Tbs. butter
300 g (10 oz.) lean ground beef
100 g (4 oz.) ground pork
2 Tbs. breadcrumbs
salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground white pepper
2 dl (3/4 cup) water
2 dl (3/4 cup) whipping cream

Instructions

1) Saute the onion in butter until golden, then transfer to a pot.

2) Mix the ground beef and pork with the dry ingredients. Gradually add the water.

3) Form large flat burgers. Brown quickly on both sides, then add to the pot with the onions.

4) Deglaze the pan with cream, then strain over the meat. Simmer 5 minutes.

5) Serve with boiled potatoes, vegetables and lingonberry compote.
